Self Service: Videos and Documentation

We love talking about SmartyGrants and we're happy to deliver as much training as you need. If you can't find what you need through SmartyGrants Documentations or our training videos, let us know. We can either help you find where the info you need is located or help you directly to solve your issue. All of the material we cover in our training sessions is covered off in our documentation and videos, so it might be worth you checking whether you actually need us to deliver specific training for your organisation or whether the self service approach is enough.

That said we realise different people learn in different ways and we are always happy to work around your needs.

Onsite Training

We are always happy to come and visit you and talk about SmartyGrants. Our team can show you through any particular aspect that you need some face-to-face help with. Our onsite training can be entirely catered to meet your requirements, be it through a stand-and-deliver format, workshops or in a computer lab.

$1,500 per day

Extra Costs

Travel costs including: airfares (economy class), car hire, accommodation (if required, maximum $350 per night)

Offsite Training

If we can't deliver the training onsite we are happy to arrange an alternative venue for your organisation's training. Naturally to keep things simple for us we recommend our headquarters in West Melbourne; however, we'll work with you to find something suitable.

$150 an hour

SmartyGrants headquarters in West Melbourne, or other venues as required.

Extra Costs

There may be additional charges for a venue away from our headquarters, plus travel costs if required.

Online webinars

Another alternative is for us to run a custom online webinar for your organisation. You can have up to 15 people attend the same webinar. They either view the session sitting at their respective desks or you can run the webinar in a meeting room with a projector and computer. The audio is delivered either over the internet or through dialling into a conference call so that questions and answers can be given throughout the session.

It's online, so wherever your staff are comfortable and can access the internet (their desks, meeting room or from home)

Requirements

We use GotoMeeting to deliver our webinars. To function properly you must have both Javascript and Java enabled in your browser. You will also need either a computer headset (speakers and a microphone) or be able to dial into a teleconference to hear the audio.

Bootcamps and Refresher sessions

Bootcamps and Refresher sessions provide an opportunity to join a larger number of SmartyGrants users from different organisations to go through our training. We run refresher sessions periodically throughout the year, primarily in Melbourne but we are willing to go wherever there is sufficient demand. The Bootcamp sessions are held the day before The Best Practice Grants Management Conference.

The content of these courses will vary from basic functionality training through to more advanced exploration of certain features or aspects of the system.

$99 per attendee

Venue

Typically Melbourne, at our office or a CBD venue. Sessions can be organised in any capital city where there is sufficient demand.

Requirements

These sessions are delivered in a lecture format, with questions and answers; however, you will need to wait untill you return to your office to apply what you have learnt to your particular grants program.
